Dear WWOOFer and Work-Exchange Friend,
If you're interested in biodynamic and organic agriculture in the tropics you might want to check out our farm. We are developing a diversified farm in association with a Waldorf children's school. Our farm is 10 acres of a nearly 40-acre property. We presently have 1.5 acres fenced in for gardens, several acres of pasture, a few cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, a donkey and various avocado, banana and fruit trees throughout the property.
We offer a basic room and board exchange for 30 hours of hard work per week. We share rustic tropical farm "houses." We provide a bedroom, shared kitchen, shower and utilities. We also provide produce from the farm and some basic food staples, such as grains and the like. We sometimes have an old vehicle that can be borrowed to make short trips with. We expect willing, enthusiastic, conscientious and hard workers.
Come be a part of grappling with the many challenges of getting a small farm off the ground. Whether you're a new or experienced: gardener, farmer, children's teacher, mechanic or carpenter we welcome your participation in our nonprofit educational farm.
